When life gives you lemons, it might be a baby in disguise! This week, Bean is the size of a lemon. Bean has eyebrows now and is able to suck his/her thumb. Bean's also growing peach fuzz all over his/her body which will keep Bean warm and toasty. Weird! Mom and Dad are enjoying watching the bump grow and everyone is starting to notice, even strangers. Mom and Dad are also enjoying the pool and beach as a way to cool off. It's been really hot already this season here in Florida. I'm sure that will start to bother Mom at some point, but so far, so good.

Mom's Week 14 bump... definitely getting bigger. |
So, why did I choose Meyer Lemon as my post title? We had a big week in our house. Mom volunteered to be a host for the Gettysburg College summer externship program. That meant that this week, I made a new best friend. Her name is Laura Meyer (get it?? Meyer?? It's perfect!!!). She's a rising junior and an English major at Gettysburg College, a magical place where dreams come true. She let me snuggle with her, play fetch with my socks, and she even let me jump on her bed in the mornings. It was so much fun. I hope she comes back to stay with us soon!

Laura and Mom on her final day at work at New College |
I had a really great week, but it definitely tired me out. I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend of couch naps and watching Season 2 of Orange is the New Black. Crazy Eyes is just my favorite character of all time. She's hysterical!

So sleepy - nap time for me! |
Gettysburg College is, in fact, a magical place where all of your hopes and dreams can come true. :)
ReplyDeleteExactly! That's what I keep telling Loki - hopefully he can convince Bean of this amazing fact.
